A Prayer a Day

Great Spirit we beckon.......that you calm the blazing
raging fires of egoistic mind.....settle down these burning flames
twisting turning human thinking...thoughts in cinders... ash and twine
May the souls of every innocent whose blood on earth is shed
be traveled back to source divine to lay upon their sacred bed
Feed hungry mouths Feed hungry hearts
Nurture back our broken parts
May we return now to our senses..attending to the consequences
of our mistakes..our actions mortal..invoking wisdom and conscious portal
We pray this day for joyful moments shared in circles large and small
We pray this day for inspiration creative ideas born to all
Pray witnesses of inner light share their healing beaming sight
Imagination fertilizes reflecting love that streams
Blessing every human calling
Of every breath
In every dream
