A Prayer a Day

Stormy cold winter weather
No doubt is on the way
We all need a home and shelter
A place where we can stay
Protection under cover
A secure and sacred tent
A way to make a living
A wage to pay the rent
All the news we see
On every day TV
Nothing’s easy
Life’s not breezy
Strength of hearts shall be
We can’t deny the mortal call
Compassion grows us one and all
