A Prayer a Day
11/17/11
Love is the only sanity.
Loveless action ultimately damages all it touches.
The irony is love is what we all so wholly need in order to thrive.
It is what every mortal naturally desires, beyond every facade.
Making others the bad and wrong enemy, in never-ending aggressive cycles of repeated misgivings, while chronically reliving ego driven perceptions,
only finds us spinning our emotional wheels, inevitably
resulting in ongoing dynamic crashes of the collective heart and mind,
blinding us with impossible paradigms of illusion.
Though this is a so called modern way of living, for having made all sorts of advances, we seem to remain loyally locked into primitive reflexes.
May we cease using “god” to justify our shadows’ behavior.
God has nothing to do with our craziness.
I summon our innocence this day in prayer,
asking that our vision be restored.
Remembering we are here together for good soulful reason.
We are each a part of the grand source of intelligent life.
I beseech the powers that be, to now lend a gentle helping hand
for a guided correction, mapping our wholesome return to love.
