A Prayer a Day

Disruption acceptance!
Calling on my zen atomic particles
to remind me that change is everywhere
and going with the current of these changes
is essential for my body’s wellbeing.
Workmen are digging up the sidewalk
on the block to lay gas pipelines for Con Ed.
And then they will dig up the street to lay water pipes.
And so it goes... the old making way for the new.
Noise is and will be for sometime
(six months I was told)
a constant to endure.
At this moment there is a backhoe
outside my window louder than loud!
Not complaining...just saying.
