A Prayer a Day

For far too many little ones on this planet,
the heart of the mother weeps...eternal.
For those among us held in the claws of insanity,
misguided and lost to the distortions of the ego,
I pray a sacred release.
Miracles await the gentle-hearted and the compassionate.
Knowing it takes personal practice
of a holy kind to balance the collective
heart and mind, may we be inspired.
Calling on our better selves
for strength of spirit to shine
a healing light as we
touch each other
in this world.
Let us put an end to the
perpetual attacks on innocence.
May we invoke the voices of our better angels.
