A Prayer a Day

I am finding it quite a challenge
remaining an optimistic witness
to mortal behavior these days.
I know I’m not alone.
Too many people are being battered
to and fro in waves of abuse, displaced
in turbulent waters of alienation,
testing the fabric of their sanity
violating the nature of their existence.
The fear mongering and the lies perpetuated
across of the globe appear to be intentionally
shredding the heart of dignity and truth.
So many wars are stressing and terrorizing
the innocent and the less fortunate, among us.
Hundreds of thousands of children are suffering!!!
Still…I have faith…I do I do… in the innate goodness of the soul of our deeper selves. Let us (with sacred determination) call to the holy source of our being-ness, inviting the avatars of spirit world, to lift the hearts and minds of those in power on this earth… that they shall choose to act with integrity, dignity and wholesome purposefulness… raising high their vibrations of faculty. May humankind be nurtured in the divine light of the creator and may the roots of peace break ground to grow strong and mightily.
