A Prayer a Day

Dreaming is a teaching sport
Sailing minds beyond their port
Last night I dreamt a
trucks so yellow
a body large
a big big fellow
a night pitch black
a journey home
I woke to muse my spirit’s roam
How are these dreams informing me
Revealing mysteries to what degree
What turns my heart does take in slumber
A violet light a flashing number
To travel through loves open doors
On sacred wings’ angelic oars
I’ve laid on clouds
Past time past crowds
Lifted in the flight of night
Gifted deep nocturnal sight
