A Prayer a Day

Admittedly, Manhattan is without argument a noisy city,
with a fast moving rhythmic beat that one must
adjust to or be out of sync.
This city has the best of the best of everything.....Some say!
The best of the best of those that sing,
those that act, those that dance, artists of all category,
and those that have the acumen for business.
The big apple is juicy alright with variations
of colors and textures and tastes.
It has a broad cultural diversity with any cuisine you can imagine, and everything pretty much at arms reach, anytime night or day.
Yes, this is quite the place with quite the pace.
A walkers city!
Grateful this day to be here as a part of this city, privileged in fact.
And I pray for those on our streets living in the cold,
young and old who need a helping hand.
I pray for the ones caught in addiction.
I pray for those behind bars.
Praying for Venus.
Praying for Mars.
May we take a moment together today and send a prayerful light around this city, laying a warm healing blanket where it is needed.
And while we are at it, why not spread that warm
healing blanket around this magnificent planet.
