Riding the river of mortal existence
Holding tight-clever at narrows bend
Rippling with joy on days when I feel it
Bobbing with angels in the light that they send
Asking the ancients to always remember
Listening beloveds no longer here
Readied to act in the now that’s upon me
Dance away doubt laugh away fear
Dreaming of living with horses and seagulls
Vision surrendered in eyes blazing clear
Seeding and feeding my soul and my spirit
Catching the words that fall on my ear
