"Eternal Art"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Eternal Art"
Marjorie Lipari©1989

A Prayer a Day
10/31/11

Respect the earth and every critter
Humility a heavy hitter
When drivers know they are by far
Racers in the fastest car
Brain and brawn
Carry on
With deeper hearts
 From dusk till dawn
Beget the now a lucid start
Create with love eternal art
Everyone has ego dealings
Everyone desires light
Everyone seeks tender feelings
Spirit hones a greater sight

A Prayer a Day
10/30/11

The cold has come to visit
Though the sun is having say
I woke from sleeping deep this morning
To gladly see another day
I ask myself what be the reason
Walking into winters’ season
Love is still the best of answers
Love is still the richest way
Love is still the best of presents
I can offer up today

 "Heart So True"

A Prayer a Day
10/29/11

Wings of love
Fly above

Doing what you’re soul’s proud of
Feeding spirit’s inner dove

Elevating mortal action
Integrity has moral traction

Remember that it's light you are
Brighter than a shooting star

Unearthing every why and who
Priming pumping heart so true

"Shape Shifting Days"
Marjorie Lipari©1989

A Prayer a Day
10/28/11

Shape shifting days, designing holy ways
Refining mortal games, taming egos’ aims
Healing bodies foot to crown
Being ones who’ve come around
Together all collectively
Lovers, friends, and family
Sharing lifetimes
Best of reasons
Light that carries
Rainbow seasons
Eyes that seek
Openhearted
Mystics meet
Minds uncharted
Truthful paths
Flowing brooks
Surrendered for more inner looks
Soulful journeys angelic alleys
Tracking shadows hidden valleys

"Sacred Dreaming"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

 "Sacred Dreaming"
Marjorie Lipari©1988

A Prayer a Day
10/27/11

We watch the news and it troubles the mind.

We witness far too many suffering and it pains the heart.

Nature perpetuates sudden goodbyes and we are brought to tears.

Mortal paradigms stress the temperament.

The demands of this material world run ahead, exhausting the supply.

Life is constantly changing and rearranging.

What comes must go eventually and absolutely.

But we are blessed when dreaming dreams that lift us
from all the troubles, all the worries, all the sadness of the day.

Oh angels of all inspiration in the expanse of sacred dreaming,
heal us in this animated world of flesh and blood.

Oh Great Creator of the Universe,
please with gentle hands of light,
guide us each back onto the path of love.

May the soul of humanity only be
intending a divine return home to
 the source of all compassion.

" The Land of Wise"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

 "The Land Of Wise"
Marjorie Lipari©1995

A Prayer a Day
10/26/11

It amazes me that after only hearing maybe two or three beats
of a song on the radio, that I can still call to memory the lyrics and melody
that I have not heard, perhaps since my childhood, so many years ago.

None the less here they come in full bloom, freshly rushing
into the present from the back logs of my experiences, finding me here pleasantly singing along.

It fascinates me every time a part of my life’s history is unearthed from the files of my psyche.

My desire is that this will lead into a greater awareness , not a self indulgence or a replay of suffering.

Respecting now every dream, every sensation, every heartache,
every joyful moment, every lifetime stored within the soul of me.

Colors, smells, sounds, textures, vibrations, and tones of voice
can evoke fertile memory, effecting my temperament and my mood in every mercurial second.

Oh this human condition, so sweet,
so sensitive, so looney tunes and crazy making at times!

I love my vulnerability and my capacity to be moved and to feel and to cry  salty tears.

I love that I can fly to the moon in my sleep, dreaming of sacred possibilities and mysteries,
and that I choose to live some moments in utterly superficial and childish ways, laughing.

Dare I be serious and smart, silly and ridiculous.

May my humanity keep me curious and my spirit
guide me to the land of wise.

knowing self

Looking up

Wow

Living fully
judging less
loving more

A Prayer a Day
10/24/11

Today I hear you calling me
Today I hear an angel’s song
Today I feel a touch so tender
Sweet spirit I shall come along

The path is clear
My steps are certain
Deep vision opens wide the curtain

Reaching
Thriving
Love arriving

Transformations’ alchemy
Bless the eyes that seek to see
And the souls that live life truthfully

"I Remember"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

  "Twinship Touching Spirit"
Marjorie Lipari©1995

A Prayer a Day
10/23/11

As I remember dancing with my late
twin brother Victor, I am moved to the depths of my soul.
Missing him today and every day that passes since 1997.
He was my ally my graced companion.
He was my witness, now gone from this world of human doing.
Witnesses are the ones who can recall the shared experiences, the moments that mattered, the instances that make all the difference, the things that shape lives.
The ones whom you can ask  do you remember when?  And they do remember.
And we get to glimpse again the glory or the terror or the challenges
of the journey together as mates reviewing what life had to offer and what we offered life.
Do you remember when we ran on Jones Beach , laughing, doing the limbo, being  silly and carefree with our adventurous friends? Do you remember the first time we got into the car and drove to Manhattan scared to go through the tunnel but made it braving the effort together? Do you remember when we got on a ship and went to Europe acting in the LaMama Troupe?
I stayed in Paris you went to Denmark.
We were the twins who were living and being so very young, so very freely ourselves.
The past is a sacred thing. Time is fleeting and seemingly amorphous.
Though we are here but for a nano second relative to eternity,
I am grateful this day for every memory good and/or difficult.
I am grateful as a flesh and blood mortal to have shared this reality with my sweet brother. And today as I am thinking of him and honoring his spirit and his loving heart, I say
“ I will be our witness and forever hold our memories
until our spirits carve together new ones.”

"Mythic Proportion"
Marjorie Lipari©1989

A Prayer a Day
10/22/11

We are open.

We are listening.

We are inviting the divine to resonate into the now
with the purest vibrations of the hidden realms.

Come ye forth into our hearts as light rays
and healing waves of mythic proportion.

We pray for inspiration and shining
 quantum leaps of holy imagination.

We wish to resurrect in sacred joyful surrender.

We wish to reacquaint ourselves with ancient wisdom,
as impassioned explorers of the unseen and the unknown.

May we be among the carriers of the great mystery
humbly assigned, and granted spiritual gifts to selflessly bear.

"Magical Thinker"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Magical Thinker in Cranberry Heaven"
Marjorie Lipari©1991

A Prayer a Day
10/21/11

I sit here this day at my computer beyond grateful that
Steve Jobs was on the planet, and thinking to myself
about the workings of my own mind and my ability to create anew.

Am I a magical thinker?
Am I a pragmatist?

Am I one of many to get the job done with muscle and miracle?

Am I one with many in the room who say... yes, I’ll take it on?

Am I going the distance completing the task?

Taming my dragons?

A masterful mortal at last ?

Am I building a temple, an altar, a sacred garden of eden?

Am I selfless and caring, trusting and daring,
willing to let love spin-in-on me?

Are the eyes of my heart open to seeing
the beauty that is, the spirit at hand?

Am I living my time, forging the climb
retrieving the freedom
 conceiving, inspired, rewired in
 wisdom and wonder ?

A Healing Pause'Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

 "A Healing Pause"
Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day
10/20/11

What is there for us to give, but intentions’ helping hand.
What is there for us to say, but farewell to fester-land.
A welcome to today and blessings upon our tomorrows.
The waves of the world do wear upon us, but our spirits are not thin.
Encouraged we shall live as one, make good for where we’ve been.
And we shall bring the peace, together we can fly.
Surrender we in sweet release, knowing love shall never die.
Meeting sacred destiny, bright shining souls’ shall be.
Circles in the darkness, open eyes to see.
Knowing we…not everything...our courage shakes the night.
And mortal dreams unearth the battles our human hearts’ do fight.
And rainbow’s face upon the sky paints comfort there for you and I.

Erase all error
Forgiveness clause
New footprints’ glean
A healing pause

 "A Little Bit of Light"
Marjorie Lipari©2000

A Prayer a Day
10/19/11

A little bit of light goes a long way through the darkness

A little bit of love, no doubt can heal the largest wounds

Grace though subtle is masterful

Kindness finds the meaning in a gentle touch

In silence thrives the holy celebration

Good fortune is still breathing song
 possessing will to give

Desire’s flame is burning strong
 possessing will to live

Tears of rain are streaming down
ever fast they slap the ground

Unseen sacred stillness Now

The voice of everlasting TAO

"Living Mortal"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

 "Living Mortal"
Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day
10/18/11

When I think about the fact that my heart has been beating
every moment of every second that I have been a living mortal,
I am awed by the endurance, loyalty and literal strength of it.

I turn my thoughts to the wonder of the body and all of its systems.

The brain…thank god…the brain conducts
the dynamic symphonies and melodic journeys of life.

I do bow down to the workings and the miracles of my existence.

I do honor the complexity AND the simplicity of every breath.

The clean lines, the design of it all.

 Who??

Who is responsible for this mystery?

Why ?
 Where ?
How ?

We have arrived into this here and now to what end ?

This question at times seems a bottomless unanswerable.

Are we an existential, enigmatic, mystical anomaly ???

Here I sit musing this day in prayerful gratitude
as my heart pumps life and my nervous system synapses.

  "Healing Harmonic"
Marjorie Lipari©2011

A Prayer a Day
10/17/11

If  I AM the one making my life unfold in the ways that it does,
the one planting the seeds of my every experience, designing
the costumes and playing the roles, today I summon humbly,
the assistance of all of my angels, for my inner most sacred intelligence,
to make clear this day the assignment before me,
to issue open access to miraculous realities that shall guide my hands,
my heart, my mind, to illuminate this mortal journey
and to lift my feet onto paths of wise perceptions.

May I proceed to manifest from an inspired imagination
 building foundations for purposeful action.

May I merge into divine vibrations wherever I go
and for all the ways in which I demonstrate.

May I live as a healing harmonic,
remaining true to myself always,
 while being part of
 this earthly
 WE factor.

"To Simply Be"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"To Simply Be"
Marjorie Lipari©2010

A Prayer a Day
10/16/11

Are we this day willing to be willing ?
Are we willing to simply be?
Are we this day willing to soften our resistance
to the comings and goings of all things ?
Are we masterful at dealing with the obstacles of  life
without resorting to aggressive tactics ?
How much attention do we give to the voice of our spirit ?
When listening what causes us to cease hearing ?
Can we catch ourselves and stop making judgments through our ego filters ?
How often do we travel inward to realize our given wisdom?
Do we  have tolerance of temperament for personal error  ?
Can we live this day in a joyful way ?
Can we locate in us the innocence that we carry ?
Do we grant ourselves  gentle and kind consideration ?
Do we honor the child of us that lives eternal ?
Are we not/ either sister /either brother
reflecting the all /coming together /one another ?

"Catching The Vision"
Marjorie Lipari©2009

A Prayer a Day
10/15/11

Foregoing what ’s gone
Incoming dawn
Awake now receiving
Mind-heart believing
Innocent dove
Breathing in love
Humanity bends
Compassionate trends
Perceiving and weaving
 Intentional cleanse
What are these moments really about
Look up and muse
Sing out and shout
Moon-dogs that howl
Erasing their fear
Circle together
Signaling clear
Offspring encourage
Burning of ego
Catching the vision
Inner sanctified depot
